Job Title: 1st Shift Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented 1st Shift Assembler to join our growing team on a 12-18 month contract. As an assembler, you will work with a variety of tools and equipment to assemble and test medical devices under direct supervision. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with small parts using a microscope.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.
• Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Microscope experience.
• Small part assembly.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with a microscope for 90% of the shift.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months high volume small part assembly experience with a microscope.
• Medical device experience is a plus.
• Cleanroom experience is an advantage.

Work Environment

You will be working in a cleanroom environment 100% of the time, in close stations. The role requires flexibility to work weekdays and Saturdays as needed, with potential shifts starting as early as 5:00am. Expect a structured, professional setting where adherence to cleanroom standards is crucial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
