Job Title: Manufacturing Assembly Technician

Job Description

The Manufacturing Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling products and operating equipment safely, productively, and ergonomically to manufacture quality parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, package, and label products efficiently.
• Operate equipment and tools, including hand tools like impact wrenches, drills, mallets, screwdrivers, and pneumatic rivet guns.
• Maintain continuous productivity under supervision.
• Produce quality finished goods with acceptable workmanship and minimal quality issues.
• Maintain assembly jigs, hand tools, and equipment in good working order.
• Possess basic product knowledge, such as recognizing which types of wheels belong on specific products, model numbers, bearings, nuts, and bolts.
• Keep a clean and organized workplace by appropriately storing tools and hardware, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash correctly.
• Notify the Production Supervisor of tools needing repair, low inventory of daily-used items, and poor product quality.
• Accurately read assembly drawings for dimensions, parts lists, assembly instructions, and critical-to-quality (CTQ) requirements.
• Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as required by Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing assembly is preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate various hand tools effectively.
• Ability to read a tape measure in fractions and decimals.
• Ability to follow written instructions

Shifts Available

• 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 2:30pm - 11:00pm

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $19.47/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Charles,MO.
