Akkodis is seeking a Content Strategist for a Contract job with a client in Knoxville ,TN . Ideally looking for applicants with 8+ years of experience driving organic traffic and SEO strategy for ad-supported digital platforms, with strong expertise in Google Analytics/Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and CMS tools (AEM preferred), plus proven ability to use data-driven insights to optimize content performance across search, AI platforms, and cross-functional product/engineering teams.
Rate Range: $38/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Develop and guide content strategy and operations to enhance user acquisition and engagement, ensure cohesive workflows across content teams, and deliver high quality website experiences.
Improve content discoverability and performance by providing best practices, analyzing cross channel metrics, and offering actionable insights to expand reach and elevate user experience.
Collaborate across teams and partners—including monetization, product/engineering, editorial, and third-party vendors—to align and prioritize content initiatives with broader business objectives.
Optimize systems and stay ahead of trends by auditing workflows for efficiency and monitoring industry and market developments in site, content, and search strategy.
Required 8+ years of experience with organic traffic
Ability to make Data-Driven Decisions
Using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or Adobe Analytics increase ROI.
Experience with SEO, LLM, or AI Chatbot
Experience with organic traffic (Google/Bing, ChatGPT, Claude)
Experience working on Ad Supported Websites
Experience with Affiliate Content Marketing.
Experience in a CMS
Demonstrated long-term thinking, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration
Experience making analytical, data-driven decisions with a user-centric approach to content
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to manage and balance multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities in a fast-paced, complex business environment
Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying complex solutions to various audiences
Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment
Experience with content management systems and multiple insights platforms – Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Google Products, BrightEdge, Similarweb, Asana)
Experience inputting Jira tickets.
