Full-Time Hygiene Assistant / Dental Assistant

Prairie Dental Group is seeking a full-time Hygiene Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Edmond, Oklahoma .

This role is ideal for a Dental Assistant who enjoys supporting the hygiene department, thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, and wants to be part of a well-established, highly respected private practice. This position will primarily support a very tenured Hygienist in an accelerated double-column hygiene schedule , helping ensure excellent patient flow and a seamless patient experience throughout the day.

Schedule

Full-time, 4 days per week
Current hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Future growth: Practice is expanding hours and plans to add Fridays later this year

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Hygienist with patient care and operatory flow
• Support an accelerated double-column hygiene schedule
• Set up and break down hygiene operatories
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Help keep the hygiene department running efficiently and on time
• Support the clinical team as needed to ensure an outstanding patient experience

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced as a Dental Assistant or Hygiene Assistant

Qualifications Preferred

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Current X-ray certification preferred
