Job Description

I am partnered up with a civil and environmental engineering firm and they currently have need for an Environmental Scientist to provide support on a variety of environmental projects, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, environmental reviews (EAW/EIS), site inspections, and remedial project support.

Duties:

* Analyze environmental data, research
* Prepare reports and figures
* Environmental review and the preparation of environmental assessment worksheets as well as permitting for sand and gravel mining
* Regulatory compliance for various industries
* Interact with Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies
* Field work and site inspections

Requirements :

* Michigan PE highly preferred
* 8+ years of combined experience with environmental compliance and/or environmental reporting in a private, public, government or military environment
* Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word and Excel. Proficiency with CAD and GIS/GPS preferred
* Must possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
