Overview

George Rings is seeking a detail-oriented graphic designer to help with print material and website projects. This is a part-time, project-based opportunity, some of which can be remote, but most of which will be in person (Tribeca studio).

We are a woman-founded jewelry brand focused on storytelling and community-building through art, and we love to partner with other creatives who find joy in bringing our vision to life.

Position Summary

As a contract graphic designer, you will work closely with the founder to create catalogs, postcards, and more. (Lots of layout work in InDesign and photo editing in Photoshop.)

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and collaborate with founder to produce print and digital marketing materials
• Manage color theory and typography effectively to enhance visual communication
• Prepare final files for digital and/or print use

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, layout, and typography
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant design work (please include a link or attachment)
• Ability to work to feedback constructively
• Experience in editorial or marketing design is a plus

• Flexible hours (10-15 hours per week, depending on projects)
• Compensation: $25/hour
