Inside Sales Representative | Grand Rapids, MI

Salary Range: $55,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grand Rapids seeking Inside Sales Representatives who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop new sales leads through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels.
• Prepare and deliver accurate product quotes, proposals, and sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to order processing and post-sale follow-up.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer data, and forecast sales pipeline.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, products, or industrial components.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and sales pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on active listening and persuasive articulation.
• Ability to understand and explain technical product specifications to a diverse customer base.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, fabrication)
• Familiarity with technical drawings or specifications
• Fluency in a second language relevant to target markets
