Inside Sales Representative | Lansing, MI

Salary Range: $52,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads and proactively identify new sales opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
• Generate accurate price quotes and process customer orders efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Collaborate with external sales, engineering, and production teams to meet customer needs.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in inside sales or B2B sales, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, products, or industrial equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on active listening and persuasive presentation.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and articulate value propositions to customers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes or industrial products
• Experience with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or complex quoting software
• Ability to interpret basic technical specifications or engineering drawings
• Multilingual proficiency (especially Spanish or relevant regional languages)
