Job Title: Junior System Software Engineer
Location: Vancouver, Canada (Onsite)
Experience: 1-3 Years
Rates: $35 to $40 CAD PH

We are hiring for a Junior System Software Engineer position where the selected candidate will work on a client project focused on CI microservices, cloud platforms, and automation workflows. This on-site role is ideal for early-career developers looking to strengthen their system operations and development skills in a collaborative team environment.

• Maintain and support CI microservice systems
• Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to user support requests
• Apply security updates to servers and databases
• Improve existing system features and develop new capabilities
• Contribute to AI-related components such as MCP servers and AI agents
• Investigate and resolve bugs to maintain platform stability
• Work closely with engineering teams to support CI/CD processes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering or system operations
• Basic understanding of Linux environments
• Experience with scripting languages Python or JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Docker
• Understanding of databases and CI/CD concepts
• Exposure to cloud computing and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

• Experience working with microservices in production
• Exposure to automation workflows
• Basic understanding of AI components or AI agents
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring or logging tools

• Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or AWS Cloud Practitioner are a plus
