Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Location: Rhode Island (Remote/Telehealth)
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000 to $120,000 a year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Summary

This LICSW opening is built for clinicians who want to focus on therapy while working from home. You’ll meet with clients virtually, build treatment plans that make sense in real life, and keep documentation organized so care stays consistent. The day-to-day is straightforward: sessions, notes, care coordination when needed, and maintaining high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled psychotherapy sessions through telehealth (individual-focused)
• Perform intakes, clinical assessments, and diagnostic impressions as required
• Develop, update, and document treatment plans with clear objectives
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions based on outcomes
• Use evidence-informed approaches appropriate to client needs
• Follow escalation procedures for safety concerns and crisis situations
• Maintain accurate records and meet documentation timelines

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island LICSW license in good standing
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience preferred (will vary by employer)
• Solid understanding of ethics, privacy, and telehealth best practices
• Reliable private workspace and comfort working in a structured schedule
