Description
Brazosport College, a two-time Top l0 finalist for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence and Achieving the Dream Leader College, seeks a dynamic and innovative individual to join its Speech Program.

Reporting to the Division Chair of Math and Life Sciences, this faculty member will support student success by preparing curriculum, including writing syllabi, developing new courses, selecting textbooks, etc.;

developing and teaching Life Sciences classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods;

teaching on campus and at offsite locations, including local high schools;

assisting in the advisement of students and;

serving on various assigned college committees

Qualifications
Master's degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Botany, Aquatic Biology, Cellular Biology, Health Sciences, Human Sciences, Integrative Biology, Immunology, Kinesiology, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Microbial Physiology, Molecular Biology, Nutrition or Zoology

OR Masters degree with 18 graduate hour in the above disciplines

Teaching experience at the community college level desirable;

ability to teach using multiple delivery methods, including on line and hybrid instruction;

demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations

excellent written and oral communication skills

other qualities, experience, and skills that enhance one's value to the institution;

exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given

special consideration as long as Southern Association ( SACS) minimum educational credentials are met.
