A private family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced, live-in housekeeper for a long-term role. The ideal candidate is a career housekeeper with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully run home. This position focuses primarily on high-level housekeeping and household organization, with light family support as needed.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed daily cleaning of all living spaces to a high standard
Maintain overall household order and presentation
Expert-level laundry care, including washing, pressing, steaming, and garment organization
Care for delicate fabrics and specialty items
Maintain organized closets and storage systems
Implement and maintain organizational systems throughout the home
Monitor and restock household supplies
Ensure all areas remain neat, orderly, and guest-ready
Work collaboratively and respectfully within an active household
