Job Description

Salary: $78,300 - 78,300 per year Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or a Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in on-call rotations and providing after-hours support in a 24/7 environment
• 2+ years of experience managing personnel in a technical setting
• Proficiency in technical writing within a relevant domain is preferred
• Familiarity with system management tools and client/server architectures is advantageous

• Oversee the operations of a Data Center and handle trouble ticket prioritization and assignment for technicians and operators
• Manage the performance of a varied team of data center operational professionals across multiple locations
• Develop career paths for employees and update our internal management tools
• Recruit and train data technicians to maintain optimal staffing levels
• Ensure the effective oversight of daily data center operations, including queue management and hardware logistics
• Quickly learn and act as a subject matter expert in all facets of data center operations
• Monitor and ensure that all operational KPIs and metrics are met
• Inspire team process improvements and advocate for technology innovation and automation
• Lead efforts during large-scale incidents and act as the call leader
• Streamline workflows and enhance throughput in data center operations
• Recommend, document, and supervise the implementation of policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and meet required SLAs
• Coordinate the on-call schedule, managing absences and vacation coverage
• Demonstrate passion for the quality and quantity of provided services while continuously enhancing customer experience
