This new Overnight Roving Security Guard is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees during the overnight shift by roving the properties, constantly moving from one area or place to another. This is not a security dispatch position behind a desk. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required. This person will complete all night duties as assigned.

· Patrolling the common property areas such as exterior, guest floors, stairwells, restrooms, etc.

· Conducting in person checks at ‘The Beach Rambler’ located on The Strand.

· Picking up IRD Menus from guestrooms and placing in Piper restaurant.

· De-escalating situations as needed.

· Completing guest requests as needed.

· Assist guests in a graceful, professional manner.

· This role will have minimal duties in the dispatch / security office.

This position will work a set 5-day work week schedule Wednesday – Sunday. This position works Weekends and Holidays.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.46/hr.

There will be a $1.00 per hour overnight additional pay added when this person is working overnight applicable hours: Clocking in between hours of 10PM-2AM, additional $1.00 per hour pay applicable for hours worked 11PM-7AM.
