Nami Nori Commissary Kitchen is looking for a detail oriented and organized PM Production Pastry Cook with a passion for the food industry and a focus on pastry products.

Nami Nori is the first concept to specialize in open-style sushi hand rolls in New York City and is expanding their Pastry program with the addition of their new Korean concept, TBD Gimbap. Our mission is to create a devoted fan following for temaki and pastry through “omotenashi”, the Japanese art of gracious hospitality. We are committed to creating great experiences for both guests and employees alike.

ABOUT YOU

• The ability to comprehend and follow verbal direction
• The ability to understand basic math
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• The ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
• The ability to sit, bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive for 6-8 hours a day 

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for prepping and packing goods up to the amount of business’s need at the commissary kitchen as assigned by Executive Pastry Chef.
