The Staff Pad is partnering with Blue Ridge Medical Center, located in Blue Ridge, GA and currently seeking a dependable and skilled PRN Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection and support laboratory operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. What You’ll Do

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages with accuracy, professionalism, and compassion
  
• Accurately document specimen collection details, patient information, assess medical necessity and order tests using the laboratory information system
  
• Ensure specimens are properly labelled, handled, and meet laboratory acceptance standards and transport specimens to testing areas
  
• Provide clear and supportive instructions to patients regarding specimen collection procedures
  
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care
  
• Maintain flexibility in adapting to changing workflows and varying work locations
  
• Uphold all safety, infection control, and compliance standards
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and laboratory collection procedures preferred
  
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
  

Education & Training

• High school diploma or GED preferred
  
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification preferred
  
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred
  
• Additional coursework in medical technology, anatomy, or patient care is a plus
