​​​​​​ Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a  Physician Assistant - Neonatology to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx . Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds.  To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with  Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Attend high risk deliveries in collaboration with Attending Neonatologists.
• Evaluate and treat newborns in the well baby nursery in collaboration with Attending Neonatologists.
• Participate in neonatal simulation activities.
• Ordering diagnostic tests based on assessments.
• Developing treatment plans.
• Prescribing necessary medications and other therapies.
• Counseling patients and families regarding care.

Qualifications

• Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA
• NRP and PALS

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836*based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** and $192,319**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 3x your salary (up to a maximum of $250,000) provided at no cost to you.
