Envestnet is seeking a QRG Portfolio Manager to join our Wealth Solutions department. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at our Berwyn, PA office location or in Chicago, IL.

Job Summary:


QRG Capital Management, Inc. is a wholly-owned unit of Envestnet, Inc., and focuses on providing quantitative investment management solutions, including direct indexing, to its clients in the wealth management space. QRG provides both equity and fixed income separate account strategies, and uses quantitative processes to systematically construct and manage its client accounts. According to Cerulli Associates, QRG is one of the largest direct index solutions providers.


QRG is seeking a portfolio manager to create and manage investment portfolios for our clients. Reporting to Envestnet’s Co-Chief Investment Officer and founder of QRG, the portfolio manager role consists of three primary areas of responsibility:


Job Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: The portfolio manager is involved in the entire life cycle of our investment strategies, including portfolio design, construction, implementation and analysis. The portfolio manager is an integral member of the team conceiving of, and implementing, new equity, fixed income, and options strategy offerings.
  • Client Engagement: The portfolio manager will also be involved with interacting directly with our advisor clients. The portfolio manager will, among other things, be a primary point of contact for clients to inquire about our strategies; will provide strategy overviews to prospective clients; and due diligence briefings for existing clients.
  • Business Analysis/Product Support: The portfolio manager interfaces with internal teams to evaluate and support QRG’s product lines. The QRG team works closely with Marketing, Sales, Consulting, and Product Management to ensure our clients’ investment objectives and collateral needs are being met.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; concentrations in Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in investment research, portfolio construction/management, client interfacing, or a combination thereof.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
  • A CFA designation (or substantial progress toward the designation) is a definite plus.
  • Previous exposure to other areas of investment management or capital markets, such as through previous work in trading, investment banking, consulting, asset management, hedge funds, or in another investing or finance capacity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Hard working and eager to be involved in a collaborative team environment.

Salary:


The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $140,000.
