Job Description
I am currently partnering with a premier Sales & Marketing firm in Lake Mary to identify a strategic Sales Operations Manager to lead their sales support department. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the scalability and performance of the entire sales engine. You will manage four direct reports through a dedicated Team Lead, allowing you to focus on high-level strategy, departmental structure, and cross-functional excellence.
In this role, you will own the "how" behind the results—designing SOPs, overseeing commissions and billing, and providing critical data insights to the SVP and Sales Leadership. We are looking for a leader who moves beyond daily tasks to drive root-cause solutions and a culture of accountability. Responsibilities
- Department Ownership: Lead the Sales Support department’s structure, scalability, and overall performance.
- Strategic KPI Management: Establish and monitor department goals, service standards, and key performance metrics.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team, including direct management of the Team Lead.
- Talent Development: Foster a culture of accountability and mentor future leaders within the department.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement scalable workflows and SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Lead root-cause analysis for recurring issues to drive permanent, systemic solutions.
- Financial Oversight: Manage commissions, billing accuracy, and reporting to ensure timely delivery.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide reporting and performance trends to Sales and Senior Leadership to support decision-making.
- Executive Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Finance, and Operations for strategic initiatives.
- Operational Alignment: Ensure frontline execution consistently aligns with senior leadership’s business priorities.
