NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to join our team in Milwaukee. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to lead our culinary team and contribute to the creation of exceptional dining experiences in the restaurant industry.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. You will collaborate closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to develop innovative menus and maintain efficient kitchen workflows. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a positive team environment and driving culinary excellence.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 annually, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for career advancement within our growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and staff performance
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus and special dishes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and efficiency
  • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and oversee maintenance schedules
  • Analyze food cost and implement strategies to reduce waste

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a restaurant
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for food presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory systems
  • A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
