The Senior Manager of Internal Communications will help shape how Hasbro employees understand the company’s strategy, leadership, and culture. This role owns high impact internal communications that cut through complexity and connect people to what matters most. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA. A Day in the Life of Senior Manager, Internal Communications: Demonstrated ability to translate corporate strategy, leadership decisions, and moments of change into clear, compelling communications that show up in the right channels, at the right time. Focus on supporting executive leadership, aligning messaging across multiple business units, and inspiring organizational change. Channel Strategy: Shape a connected communications ecosystem that aligns channel purpose, content, and message flow across web, email, intranet, and internal platforms to deliver intuitive, end-to-end employee experiences Orchestration & Alignment: Serve as the central steward of the internal communications calendar, partnering with IT, HR, Legal, IR, and other teams to align messaging, manage tradeoffs, and orchestrate cohesive communication moments across the enterprise. Change Management: Translate complex change initiatives into clear, timely communications by aligning messaging, channels, and leader enablement to support understanding, readiness, and sustained adoption. Reporting & Measurement: Enable data-informed communications by defining KPIs, building shared dashboards and insight cadences, and fostering a test-and-learn approach to content and channel optimization. Intranet Strategy: Oversee intranet strategy and governance by improving how content is organized, maintained, and retired through clear taxonomy, navigation, single source‑ hubs, and lifecycle standards. Digital Ecosystem: Drive a modern digital communications ecosystem by serving as a deep expert in Microsoft 365, defining best practices and governance across tools, and piloting emerging technologies such as content workflows, email lifecycle management, and video databases. Champion responsible AI adoption across internal communications by identifying high value‑ use cases that accelerate workflows, content creation, accessibility, and reuse. Global Delivery: Build internal communications programs with an accessibility first and global mindset, ensuring content and experiences are inclusive, culturally relevant, and effective across regions, languages, and abilities. What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. 10 years of progressive experience in internal or corporate communications, including experience operating in a complex, matrixed, or global organization. Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and translating enterprise priorities into clear, effective employee communications. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and tailor messages for different audiences. Experience contributing to large‑scale initiatives such as organizational change, operational updates, or leadership communications. Solid project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with digital communications platforms and performance measurement tools, with a mindset of continuous improvement. High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across levels and functions. Experience in the toy, gaming, or consumer products industries. Background in crisis communications and digital channel/tech stack implementation. Familiarity with global communications and working with geographically dispersed teams. The base salary range for this position is $111,000.00 to $166,600.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
