Job Description

Leidos is currently seeking an experienced individual for a role supporting a dynamic customer acquisition program office. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical planning; system hardware software and network design; development and integration; verification and validation; and fielding. The candidate will also continuously evaluate technical alternatives including risk supportability and system-level analyses.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical advice and input to the customers Chief Engineer to help establish the strategic foundation for critical national capabilities and future initiatives
• Continually assess the customers business practices and recommend new solutions processes standards or operational plans to improve mission effectiveness
• Serve as the Chief Engineers technical lead on large complex projects
• Resolve highly complex multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of programs or projects
• Lead development of highly innovative products and solutions through collaboration with subject matter experts
• Execute systems engineering activities including requirements analysis functional analysis timeline analysis trade studies requirements allocation interface definition technical management integration system testing and quality assurance

Requirements

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with DoD military civilian personnel and industry partners
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel)
• Ability to anticipate and prepare responses and briefing materials for senior USG leadership on program-specific matters

Experience

• BA/BS degree with 12 years of relevant experience or MA/MS degree with 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities

Security Clearance

• Must possess a current/active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance in order to be considered
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program information
