Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic echocardiography (2D, Doppler, M‑mode) and related cardiac imaging studies, ensuring diagnostic-quality data for interpretation.
- Prepare patients, obtain clinical history, explain procedures, monitor safety, and provide comfort during exams.
- Operate echocardiography equipment, optimize image acquisition, and document measurements and findings for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record; coordinate with interpreting physicians and imaging staff.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, equipment calibration procedures, and standard QA processes; comply with AHA BLS requirements.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent echocardiography experience in a cardiology imaging setting
- Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
- RDCS certification and CCI credential required; AHA BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a hospital-based imaging setting and fulfill travel assignment requirements
- Registry status: RDCS, with eligibility or active credential as applicable
