Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will fabricate a variety of equipment for the food processing and material handling industry, focusing on MIG welding with stainless steel. You will work closely with metal assemblies and weldments, utilizing hand tools, machine operations, and welding techniques to produce high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on stainless steel.
• Fabricate metal assemblies and weldments.
• Utilize hand tools and operate machines for fabrication.
• Follow verbal instructions and technical drawings.
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts.
• Lay out stock and sub-assemblies.
• Set up and operate fabrication machines including rolls, brakes, flame cutters, drill press, grinders, and shear.

Essential Skills

• Experience in steel welding.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and stainless steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of brake forming and other fabrication processes.
• Experience with the layout of stock and sub-assemblies.

Work Environment

The role operates on a 1st shift schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential for weekends and overtime. Work in a spacious 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
