Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various techniques, including MIG or Flux welding processes.
• Inspect and assess materials for quality and suitability before starting fabrication.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or fabrication is a plus.
• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a welding environment.
