The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Biomedical Engineer to support an Emerging and Disruptive Medical Technology Projectin Frederick, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

CACI is engaged in a project to provide intelligence analysis on health and medical issues related to foreign militaries and operating environments that delivers decision advantage to support military operations. In this effort we produce finished intelligence on a wide range of topics related to emerging and disruptive biological technology.
  • Produce assessments projecting the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced medical technologies and their impact to Defense Critical Infrastructure.
  • Identify health-related disruptive thereat and assess the impact of foreign environmental health issues and trends on environmental security and national policy
  • Develops Indicators that identify intentions, capabilities, or actions of potential actors that target health and related technology.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Genetic Engineering, Neuroscience, Synthetic Biology, Pharmacology, Biotechnical Manufacturing or other Medical related field.
  • 6 Years of experience in a medical or biology field.

Desired:
  • Working understanding of DIA Analytic Design, product line, and style guide.
  • Working understanding of ICD 203 & 206.
  • Previous experience publishing inside of DIA

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,200
