We are a 120-bed facility located in the beautiful woods of Columbia County. A leading senior care provider in the area we are conveniently located in close proximity to the Taconic State Parkway, offering a very peaceful commute.

Our Driver and Resident Transportation Assistant is an important part of our care team. In this role, you will be a representative for Pine Haven in the community as you bring residents and team members to appointments and outings. This is a great position for someone who loves to drive and is looking to enjoy time with our residents.

Responsibilities include :

• Transporting residents in wheelchairs throughout the facility and into vehicle using lift
• Safely transporting residents and team members to community appointments and outings
• Cleaning and inspecting vehicle daily and more often as needed
• Scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments
• Greeting residents and others with positive attitude and proving quality service to all
• Represent in a professional manner and provide information about Pine Haven to community members
• Assist with picking up supplies or items for the facility at local stores.
• Following all resident safety, safe driving and security procedures

Required qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years old
• Clean Driver’s record with at least 5 years of driving experience
• Knowledge of local area
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to use GPS
• General knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance requirements

Day shift - Week Days

Mon-Fri 7 am - 3 pm (No weekends!)
