POSITION SUMMARY

The Loan Officer serves as a trusted financial partner for members by delivering professional, accurate, and solutions-focused lending services. This position is responsible for interviewing applicants, evaluating creditworthiness, underwriting consumer loans within established authority limits, and guiding members through lending decisions that support their financial goals. The Loan Officer ensures compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence throughout the lending process while providing seamless and personalized member experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of consumer lending principles, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial documents, credit reports, and income calculations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in consumer lending, loan processing, or financial services required.
  • Experience in a financial institution or other regulated environment required.

SALARY

  • $20.50 - $26.00 Hourly DOE
