Living Faith TV is seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team in Bristol, VA, USA. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for our television network. Key Responsibilities: - Edit raw footage into compelling, high-quality videos for our television network - Collaborate with producers and other team members to understand the vision and objectives of each video project - Utilize industry-standard software and tools to create visually appealing and engaging videos - Incorporate sound effects, music, and other elements to enhance the overall production value of videos - Ensure that all videos meet the technical and creative standards of Living Faith TV - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video editing skills and techniques - Manage and organize video assets and maintain an organized archive of footage - Work with tight deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules - Communicate effectively with team members and provide regular updates on project progress - Collaborate with other departments to ensure videos align with the overall brand and messaging of Living Faith TV - Stay informed about current events and topics related to the content of Living Faith TV to inform video editing decisions Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a television or media production setting - Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer - Strong understanding of color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production techniques - Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and exporting for various platforms - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Passion for storytelling and creating visually appealing content - Familiarity with Living Faith TV and its mission is a plus Living Faith TV is a dynamic and growing television network, dedicated to spreading the message of faith and hope to our viewers.
