The Mission
As an SSC, you are the face of the D1 experience. You’ll lead high-energy sessions ranging from 1-on-1 specialist training to large team workouts. Your goal: implement the D1 training philosophy to help athletes (ages 7 to adult) reach their peak performance while staying injury-free.

The Game Plan
- Lead with Impact: Conduct group, team, and 1-on-1 workouts for scholastic (ages 7-18) and adult athletes.
- Evaluate & Program: Assist with athlete assessments and goal setting to ensure every member has a customized path to success.
- Represent the Brand: Participate in combines, competitions, and marketing events to showcase the D1 Lakeland culture.
- Safety First: Prioritize proper form and technique to ensure our athletes stay on the field and off the sidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Strength & Conditioning experience (Collegiate athletic experience is highly valued and can satisfy this requirement).
- Credentials: Valid Personal Training Certification + AED/CPR/First Aid.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
- Character: A positive, "over-the-top" customer service attitude and a deep passion for fitness.
